The American Red Cross is hosting a blood drive Wednesday, April 18. This blood drive is at Herrin High School, 700 North 10th Street in Herrin from 3 to 7 p.m.


THURSDAY, APRIL 19
2 p.m. to 6 p.m.

There is an American Red Cross Blood Drive in Herrin Thursday, April 19. The blood drive will be at Northside Primary Center, 601 North 10th Street in Herrin from 2 to 6 p.m.


SATURDAY, APRIL 28
5 p.m.

First Christian Church in Benton invites you to a Trivia Night and Silent Auction Saturday, April 28 at 5 p.m. There will be crafts, collectibles, prizes, baked goods, a la carte food and a 50-50 drawing. All proceeds will go to raise money for the church's new Fellowship Center.


SATURDAY, MAY 12

Mark your calendar now for the 2018 River to River all Corvette Car Show Saturday, May 12 in downtown Herrin. The show is from 11 a.m. and 3 p.m., and is hosted by the Herrin Elk's Lodge #1148. To view the show, admission is free. Car Registration is $10 per car. This year's goal is 100 Corvettes.

First Christian Church in Benton is hosting a Pork Chop Sandwich fundraiser Saturday, June 2 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the church located at 302 South Main Street in Benton. A $5 ticket will get you a delicious pork chop sandwich and a drink. To order tickets call 618-438-5841.
